Three times so far. Each has been uneventful and satisfactory.

I have a friend that does. Mostly boring run of the mill trips. Sometimes drunk people that stink up her car.

Used it a number of times. I didn’t know they could rate me as well. I was abit upset with the driver who put his phone in between his legs and asked me for directions....

My experiences with it have been, honestly, not any better or worse than a taxi.
A good friend of mine, however, recently got a ride from them that consisted of the driver talking, at great, un-interruptable length, about how any rape carried about by soldiers isn’t actually rape, it’s just “boys blowing off some steam” and saying anything bad about said rape means you’re an idiot.
Also, I will say this every time Uber comes up, but I’d feel safer being driven by a stranger if the required more qualifications than watching a 13 minute YouTube video.

I just saw my first one on the Dulles highway near DC a couple days ago. I had no idea they just kept little “U” decals in the window. It’s very low key, especially compared to Lyft’s MUSTACHE RIDES!
The whole thing still reeks of the off-license “minicab” thing that people were always warned about when traveling abroad, especially in Europe. I guess if you have a smartphone app, that makes it legitimate enough.

Yes several times and had nothing but great experiences. Personally like much more than a taxi.

I mostly take uber to bars when I'm hammered and it's been largely positive. No major complaints really. Eh.

Use it often. Cheaper than a cab unless they’re surging. Then I generally avoid and use a cab (see Flywheel app).
Pros: App dispatch/payment/email receipt (this is the big one), clean/newer cars, cheaper than a cab unless surging.
Cons: Most drivers don’t know anything about navigating the city and rely 100% on the nav on their phone/in app. This makes their routes often clunky and frustrating.

I’ve ridden a few times, but I have to admit that every time I get into an Uber, I seem to be intoxicated. Not sure what they put into those cars that does that...

It’s a great way to get laid. Especially if your fare passes out in the back seat.

I’ve never ridden in one, and I’ve never seen one. I guess that’ll change because I live in the only city in my state that’s legalized Uber.
